Update on Jeff Loughlin “My Life… Lived My Way”

Remember Jeff Loughlin, our only male hoaxer so far, who invented a larger-than-life character who was raising his dead best friend’s daughter and saving lives right and left in New England?

We received a notice that Jeff had filed a DMCA complaint against our website because he was upset we had preserved his blog and hosted it on Dropbox.

Now, I personally find it a bit ironic that someone who stole hundreds of pictures, YouTube videos and even story lines from various places on the internet to perpetuate his bizarre online hoax for years is now concerned about copyright law, but I deleted the offending file.

I would like to point out that Jeff’s blog is still preserved at the Internet Wayback Machine and can still be read in full here.

Jeff’s entries here are worth a read.  He denied he had anything to do with writing the blog for several days and challenged us to use our girl detective skills to find the real hoaxer.  That didn’t end up working so well for him after we found oodles and oddles of proof he wasn’t telling the truth, and finally he confessed in the comments of our blog.

We’ve also never figured out where the pictures of Jeff’s best friend Jill were taken from, so if you recognize this woman, please let us know.

Am I the only one who’s not able to access anything on the WayBack site?

I’m thinking Jeff is making his way around the internets and looking at posts about his fake self. Someone from PA visited my site today after coming from an Internet friend site about him. It wa th article my buddy linked to when I was wondering where Jeff had disappeared to.

I know we have a lot of Internet scum, just can’t believe he’s still arrogant enough to be snooping around the sites he used to hoax.

    Get a real life Jeff.

  3. I’ll be happy to host any files he’s DMCA’d on my site.
